Four small beacons come in the kit, one for each of the most-used rooms. They tell SilverKin which room your loved one is in, so an alert can say “possible fall in the bathroom” instead of just “possible fall,” and daily patterns make sense: asleep in the bedroom, eating in the kitchen. Does my loved one have to do anything?
Nothing to remember. SilverKin is worn like a watch, and there’s a help button when it’s needed. When the battery runs low, a fresh one can be placed without having to remove SilverKin from the wrist. It’s easy.
Is there a camera or microphone recording at home?
There are no cameras, and nothing is recorded at home. SilverKin has a speaker and microphone for two-way voice and spoken reminders, used when your loved one or the family starts a conversation.
Can my brothers and sisters use the app too?
Yes. Invite family to your Care Circle so everyone can check in without calling five times a day.
What does it cost?
Founding Family members pay $39.99 a month, or $407.88 a year on the annual plan. The $99 starter kit is a one-time cost. Your Founding Family rate stays locked in for as long as you stay subscribed.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The monthly plan can be canceled anytime. On the annual plan, if you cancel partway through, service continues until the end of your annual term, with no partial refund. In the first 30 days, you’re also covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.‡
